This adorable passport cover is made from high quality cotton fabric from Japan and features a black 100% cotton lining.

The story of Maneki Neko ('lucky cat' in Japanese) says that a monk was sheltering from a thunderstorm underneath a tree when he saw a cat sitting at the door of a temple. The cat beckoned him over and, as soon as the monk reached the cat at the temple, a lightning bolt hit the tree that he had been hiding under, burning it to a crisp! Pretty lucky, wouldn't you say?
